Casinos in Barcelona:

Amusement in Barcelona is exhilarating as the city holds in store more than cultural events and aesthetic experiences. The nightlife brings with it a different phase of entertainment as the casinos across the city throb with life and activity.

A number of casinos operate across the city allowing their guests with exciting games and refreshing drinks. Most of the casinos are lined with a variety of slot machines to give the players a number of options in their gamble. It is indeed hard to resist the casinos as they draw the visitors in with their luring neon signs. To name a few the most crowded casinos of the Barcelona city are- ‘Gran Casino de Barcelona’, ‘Vila Olimpica’ and ‘Casino de Cataluna’.

When the sun goes down you'll find all forms of amusement from traditional fiestas and world-class opera to lesbian bars and drag shows as well. Some of the lively areas for nightlife in Barcelona include the Barri Gotic old quarter, La Rambla, the neighbourhood of L'Eixample north of the city centre and Maremagnum and Port Olimpic down at the waterfront.

The Barri Gotic:

The Barri Gotic with its network of narrow medieval streets is an exquisite place where evenings are truly blissful by means of masses of bars and clubs. Here, you’ll find one of the most popular clubs in town, Rita Blue in Plaza Agusti. The place is equipped with a quiet bar and a restaurant where Mexican and traditional Mediterranean food is available while the ground floor is a night club which heaves till 3am at weekends.

L'Eixample:

L'Eixample has lots of good pubs and clubs where gays too can have endless fun.

Passeig de Gracia:

It is another popular haunt for gays. They just find it to be a good place with nice ambiance wherein they can spend some of the relaxing moments in their partners company.

Martin's on Passeig de Gracia:

Martin's on Passeig de Gracia is a nightclub for gays (men only) but if you're not that way inclined head for the Alfa Club in Mayor de Gracia where you'll find a friendly crowd of regulars and great decor.

Maremagnum:

Maremagnum is a bustling shopping center that comprises everything from tourist bars and techno music to Irish pubs and salsa clubs.

The mall has around 12 cinemas showing original version films with sub-titles.

Port Olimpic:

Port Olimpic is another good late night spot with plenty of bars, good seafood restaurants and clubs. The yacht marina is a great place to be on summer evenings when many of the bars and restaurants set up tables and chairs on outdoor terraces.

The Gothic Quarter:

The Gothic Quarter is a fashionable entertainment area that offers fun during the late hours.

It is advisable to be aware of the pickpockets so be cautious and don't leave handbags lying around or hanging on chair backs.
